Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as being a part of the band One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where, along with three schoolmates, he founded his own band, White Eskimo. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the best contenders for the contest. However, they finished third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
