Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is an American actor, performer, writer and director. Her most well-known role was Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also written, directed and starred her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the daughter of a psychiatrist and an artist named Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Benson has a younger sister Danielle, who works as an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. The career of Benson has continued to flourish since the end of Buffy. She was in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. In the background Benson also used her creative talents to develop The Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy has spent the time and effort in locating them, claims there are around 1800 Slayers worldwide, with 500 working for their organization, the Scooby Gang.
