Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American Actress and Singer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders as well her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. The couple has three brothers. The singer was in her teens performing in clubs, escaping from home to do so. The actress studied acting since when she was 13 years old at Wooster School, then studied drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts along with renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress and singer. Born in Brookfield on April 28, 1967. She is the daughter of an American-born father from Germany as well as a mother from Germany. Kari has three siblings. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was in her teens. She would sneak out from her home to perform. Kari at the time was thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher renowned as Uta. Kari started performing at the age of a teenager. Her first break came in 1987 with MTV Remote Control.
